Biography

Dr. White received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in agronomy from the University of Maryland and his J.D. degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University . He is currently the Director of Regulatory Affairs for the Chemical Producers & Distributors Association (CPDA). Prior to joining CPDA, he practiced environmental law for 18 years as a Partner and Counsel at several law firms in Washington , DC , and was cited by Washingtonian magazine in 2004 as one of the top environmental lawyers in Washington .  Before practicing law, Dr. White served as a Department Manager at an environmental consulting firm, where he managed multidisciplinary regulatory support contracts for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other clients.  As a research scientist for the State of Maryland and the USDA, he conducted environmental and agricultural research at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center . He is the a uthor and co-author of over 20 publications on legal and scientific subjects, including book chapters titled Civil Enforcement Authority Under the Clean Water Act for the ABA handbook Environmental Litigation , and The Physiology of Metal Toxicity in Plants for the Annual Review of Plant Physiology . Dr. white has participated in the ENPM program as a Lecturer since 2003.
