Biography |

Dr. Amey is a lecturer for Professional Masters of Engineering Program at the University of Maryland , College Park ; authored the textbook for “Waste Minimization in Project Management Design.” He received B.S., M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in 1966, 1968, and 1974, respectively, from the University of Maryland in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Engineering. In 1978 he received a Professional Engineering License in Chemical Engineering. His varied experience brings subject matter that is used in the real world to the classroom. |

Dr. Amey has more than 40 years experience in chemical engineering research, environmental analysis, life cycle assessments, and industrial operations. He is recognized as the world's expert on consumption and production of gold in the United States . In addition, he has backgrounds in mathematics, science, and computers and has experience in modeling and simulation of chemical and industrial systems. Currently, he is an instructor for Mathematics Department at Anne Arundel Community College . |
